Work out whether solar
actually stacks up.
Solar is a good investment for some roofs and a poor one for others. We size a system against your real usage, apply the rebates you qualify for, and show you the payback period before you commit.

Own your roof? Own your power.
We size a system to how much you actually use during daylight hours, so you're not paying for panels that export at a low feed-in tariff.
Compare home solarDaytime load is solar's best case.
Businesses that run through the middle of the day get the strongest returns, because you're using what you generate instead of exporting it.

Questions people ask
What rebates am I eligible for?
Small-scale Technology Certificates apply nationally and are usually taken off the quoted price. State and territory schemes vary, and some are means tested. See our government incentives guide for the current picture.
Is a battery worth adding?
It depends on how much power you use after dark and what your feed-in tariff is. When your evening usage is high and your feed-in rate is low, a battery starts to make sense. We show both scenarios.
What if I rent, or I'm in an apartment?
Rooftop solar generally needs owner consent and a suitable roof. If you're renting or in strata, comparing energy plans is usually the faster saving.
